In order to comply with the new European General Data Protect Regulation (GDPR), Chris Malcolm Ltd. trading as Daydream Education ("we", "our", "us") has updated this Privacy Policy (together with our Cookie Policy and Terms of Use) to display how we will use any Personal Data we collect from you, or you provide to us during your use of our website, Internet services and/or applications, such as Pocket Poster Revision Apps and/or Maths Tutor Apps (collectively referred to as Services throughout this Privacy Policy).
Data Protection Principles
In relation to personal data, we will:

Please note that our social media pages are public, and we recommend that you exercise caution before deciding what information and content you wish to share or disclose.

- i. You may choose to enable, log into, or sign on to the Services through various social media or social networking services, such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, or Instagram. When you connect using your Social Media Account, we may collect Personal Data that you have provided to the Social Network Service. For example, when you log in with your Facebook credentials, with your consent, we may collect Personal Data from your Facebook profile that is permitted under Facebook's Terms of Use - such as your email address, profile picture, and friend list. We use this data to provide, enhance, and personalise the Services. If you do not want to provide us with this data, you need to adjust the privacy settings on your Social Network Service account.

Security and Storage of Your Personal Data
The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area (EEA). It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who are employed by us, or whose services have been employed by us or for our suppliers. Such staff maybe engaged in, among other things, the fulfilment of your order, the processing of your payment details and the provision of support services. By submitting your Personal Data you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. The technology that we use and the policies that we have implemented are intended to safeguard your privacy from unauthorised access and improper use. We will continue to update these measures as new technology becomes available.

Newsletters and Service Emails
The emails we send fall into two categories:
Our emails (we call them newsletters) which provide you with information about offers, new products and other things that we think may interest you or Daydream Education customers generally.

While we do our best to act on your preferences as soon as we can, please be aware that it may take up to 14 days for changes to your preferences concerning newsletters to take effect.
Please note that transactional emails that we send you – that is, emails that we need to send you relating directly to your orders and purchases from Daydream Education or its service providers (e.g. Royal Mail, FedEx, Hermes etc.), – are unaffected by your preferences for newsletters.
Cookies
When you visit Daydream Education, we send cookies to your computer, or similar device, which are essential for interaction with the Services. If cookies are disabled, you will be unable to interact with the Services. Cookies also help prevent fraud by providing a way of recognising you so that only you can access your Personal Data. Your Rights in Relation to Data
The law on data protection gives you certain rights in relation to the data we hold on you. These are:

Where you have provided consent to our use of your Personal Data, you also have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawing your consent means that we will stop processing your data which we were previously given consent to use. There will be no consequences for withdrawing your consent. However, in some cases, we may continue to use the data where so permitted by having a legitimate reason for doing so. If you wish to withdraw your consent, it must be in writing and addressed to the Data Controller.
